External Description
Villa Burga is a splendid late-19th century villa immersed in the Umbrian countryside, on the border with Tuscany, and near Città di Castello. Located in a panoramic position on the hills, the property overlooks the Upper Tiber Valley offering breathtaking views of the entire valley, from Città di Castello to Monte Santa Maria Tiberina, from Anghiari to Citerna up to Monterchi.
The villa is located within a vast park (approximately 8,000 m2) which includes a pine forest, a dining area with barbecue capable of accommodating all guests, a small lake with aquatic flowers, and a large private parking for 30 cars.
Among the outdoor spaces you will also find a bowling green, volleyball court and five-a-side football pitch, as well as a playground area with swings and slides.
The spacious panoramic terrace hosts a lounge area with gazebo and sofas, ideal to relax while admiring the wonderful Umbrian and Tuscan landscape.
At a lower level of the park there is a private pool (15 x 6 m, depth 1.10 - 1.70 m), open from April to the end of October, and equipped with an internal hydromassage area, parasols, and sun loungers.
Near the pool are also two changing rooms, two showers (one external and one internal), and a toilet.
Moreover at guests' disposal a ping pong table and a table football, ideal for the entertainment of adults and children.
Internal Description
Villa Burga is made up of the main building (the villa) and a dependance, meant to accommodate people with disabilities. The entire property can sleep up to 24 people, has 7 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. Internet Wifi is included. 2 baby cots and 3 high chairs are available on request. All windows are equipped with mosquito nets. Pets are allowed on request.
Expertly renovated, the villa has kept the charm of the 19th century farmhouse both in external architecture and internal furnishings, characterized by stone walls, wooden beams and original terracotta floors.
Main building: The villa is spread over 2 floors and can accommodate up to 20 people.
The entrance on the ground floor houses an old wood-burning oven (still working) and a large living area, created from the old stables, with two brick arches, fireplace, sofa, and several dining tables.
Following is a spacious kitchen, fully equipped with: dining table, fridge, oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and coffee machine.
Also on this floor there is a reception, a bar and two toilets (one of which is suitable for disabled people).
The first floor includes 5 spacious quadruple bedrooms, all equipped with ensuite bathroom with shower and tv. More specifically, bedrooms are divided as follows: two with double bed and bunk bed, two with double bed and double sofa bed, one with double bed and sofa with two single beds.
Dependance: Near the villa there is a dependance, set on one single level (on the ground floor), and meant to accommodate people with disabilities. Capable of hosting up to 4 people, the dependance consists of: a kitchen, a small living room, a bathroom with shower, and 2 double bedrooms with tv.

Prices and conditions
Included in the price: Utilities (water, gas, electricity); Internet Wifi; house, garden and pool maintenance.
Excluded from the price: Final cleaning (400.00€); extra linen change (30.00€/bedroom); wedding fee (2.500,00€). Tourist tax if required (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from 0.50€ to 4.00€ per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).
Security deposit: Customers are required to pay 500.00€ security deposit upon arrival (cash), which will be returned at the end of the stay upon any damages.

Villa Burga is located in the wonderful countryside of Città di Castello, in Umbria. Located on the north-western side of Umbria region, Città di Castello stretches along the Upper Tiber Valley on the border with nearby Tuscany, and not far from the Marche region.
The location of the property is an ideal starting point as it allows you to easily visit the Medieval and Renaissance Tuscan and Umbrian beauties in less than an hour, such as: Citerna, Anghiari, Sansepolcro (the birthplace of Piero della Francesca), Arezzo, Cortona, Gubbio, Perugia, Assisi, and Spello.
Moreover just 11 km away from the villa you will find Monterchi, a lovely village in the province of Arezzo, where you can admire the famous painting "Madonna del Parto" by Piero della Francesca.
